Electrical Service in S Florida?

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a contractor or shop in S Florida for some electrical work? I am considering upgrading the system in my Class B to include an additional coach battery, solar, dc-dc battery charger.

Thank you.

  • Sounds like you want a solar shop. Florida has plenty. Stay away from RV dealers.
  • Stay away from RV dealerships.

I noticed my local dealer is selling a 120 watt "suitcase" panel system for a mere $495.00 plus installation charges (highway robbery).

I'd be tempted to ask a roving RV repair person. Talk to the local campground operator?
  • An in-house alternator and starter rebuilder would be the place to start. Ask them if they have the facilities to reuild a

50DN Delco alternator "in-house". This acts as a 1st stage filter to the weed out re-sellers from rebuilders. You will probably get a referral.

Other hints: Octagon 36" crimper? Heat shrink? Do you get an immediate answer to "What is crosslinked polyolefin wire (high temperature)

    Hope this helps!
