Electrical switches not operating

I have a 21ft travel trailer. All electrical worked fine for 3 weeks at an event park. Rv park experienced a transformer failure in another part if the park yesterday. Electrick still worked after the outage. Now at a new Rv park, the awning doesn't pull out, the awning lights do not operate and the main switch light does not operate. Is it possibly a fuse.

  • Fuse by battery? Main fuse in 12 volt DC power distribution panel normally located under small metal plate adjacent to the 120 volt circuit breakers.
If you are connected to shore power, your converter could be bad. It could have reverse polarity fuses on the DC end of it depending on model.
What happens when you plug into your TV?
  • If you kept using the rv without power, your battery is dead.
  • Dead battery? AC breaker tripped on converter? Do any of the 120V appliances/outlets work?
  • A fuse would be my first suspect. Need to find the DC fuse box and check them out.

You can see through the back of the DC fuses to see if they are burned out.
