electrical

The wife and I were at an RV park in Cayucos CA this past weekend. we listing to radio the the interior lights go off then come back on. In the morning lights were dim & slide would not go in. I put battery charger on batteries and lights perkup and slide went in. I check fuses, all were good. I turn all breaker on and off. My AC, microwave, TV and all outlets work. Just lights went to 12v. Is there a fuse on the converter or a reset switch? It's a 2008 dutchman TT. Thanks in advance

  • Your 2008 Dutchman Probably has a Magnetek-Parallax single stage converter. They are known for being poor. If you do find it is bad, you would be wise to replace it with a modern Progressive Dynamics, or similar, multi stage converter.
  • If its an inconsistent problem, likely not a fuse.
    Likely a faulty converter.
  • If recharging the batteries from outside source makes the DC side work then it's likely your issue is a bad converter or blown fuse on the converter. My converter has fuses clearly visible on the outside of it.
