Actually there would be 6000 VAC supplying the campground transformer(s) but I have never heard of that being a problem at a campground. We had an acreage where we parked our MH under a 6000 VAC single phase and I was able to demonstrate about 15 VAC chassis to EARTH when the MH was NOT plugged into a 30A supply.
Don't quote me but I think the big lines on these towers run from 50,000 volts and more. I'm sure I heard much higher figures for some but don't remember.
You can hear them sing hundred yards away, feel your hair sand on end and some plants grow whapy jaw.
