I am a retired environmental consultant and ran into this issue a few times. Most EMF fields are small and of not much consequence. The exception is large power lines, like three powerlines on steel towers. The EMF from these is easy to measure. Dairy herds produce less milk in their proximity. There is some research that suggests that they may have some effect on human behavior like depression. I would not live near a powerline. Otherwise not much to worry about.
