The video shows the rail being removed and then reinstalled over top of the eternabond tape.
I'm talking about applying the etape over top of the metal rail and screws to seal the joint.
I'd be afraid to remove all the screws at the same time from the joint for fear something would shift and never go back togther right or fall apart altogether.
