Thanks, all. There may be some ethanol-free gas around here and I'll look for it. But I like this practical idea, too:

Personally, I'll use normal regular with ethanol over the normal operating periods during the spring/summer/fall, but for storage, will run the tank down to a quarter tank, then fill with ethanol-free fuel and add a stabilizer for winter storage. I run both the MH and generator at least once a month over the winter to keep things lubricated and to purge the existing fuel in the carb/injectors.
