North L.A. area should be overnight to Palm Springs (= 70 miles)
Only fans that seems to last down here are ball-bearing type. Check to see if fan is two wire or three wire type. Exact dimensions are critical including thickness.
Jaja. The last Teton I worked on had so much insulation I think a person could stick a chainsaw in there and it would be hard to hear.
