1. Support your trailer with something in addition to the jack.
2. Only remove one wheel at a time.
3. Note that many newer trailers have self adjusting brakes. If this is the case, increasing the setting until the wheel will not move will require using an awl to depress the adjusting ratchet to reduce the tension to the proper setting.
4. Ask someone to help you who knows what they are doing. Brakes are kinda important.
