This is TOTALLY WRONG
To correctly adjust drum brakes, with the wheel off the ground adjust by turning the star wheel until the wheel locks up. On passanger cars and trucks at this point you turn the star wheel in the opposite direction 10 to 12 clicks.
On electric brakes like you have you only back off three, at the most 4 clicks. This will give trailer brakes the correct setup.
Just don't make me work on an old VW with two star wheels per corner ;)
