- Deputy_Chief_P_ExplorerWe use an inexpensive pump to pump the water out of a 7 gallon water container into our rig. It is pretty quick too. Here is the pump we use: http://www.heartlandamerica.com/browse/item.asp?product=liquid-transfer-pump&PIN=48043&BC=S&DL=SEH3
- Jack_Diane_FreeExplorerI have a 25 gallon tank that I purchased from TSC farm supply that fits in the back of my pickup. I installed a simple home garden spigot. Fill the tank with water, hook up the water hose to the tank and connect to my trailer water tank filler and turn on the valve and let gravity to the rest. Works fine. The empty 25 gallon tank is light and stores in the trailer when the trailer is in storage.
- rockhillmanorExplorerI use the KISS theory. No need for engine powered pumps!! :B
They make several cheap hose siphons available at hardware stores. I have one that is nothing more than clear tubing with ball bearing in one end that siphons the water. Just put in and move up and down. Doesn't get any simpler than this!
They make an even cheaper one that is nothing more than a tube with a squeezable ball in the middle to start the siphon. Heck you can even use a piece of garden hose.
