I also wanted to add the engine does not stall or spit or sputter any longer, and shifts from drive into neutral, reverse, park etc with no issue returning to idle. Once I get some speed up into the 20+mph range roughly, it seems a lot easier to accellerate or keep speed. She loves to roll down the road but starting from a stop is sooo slow.
I am going to use an IR digital thermometer gun to test temps up and down from the cat, see if there is a chance the cat is plugged and trapping exhaust pressure. I believe I am just looking for similar temps both up and down from the cat? Ive seen online that a large temp difference (~100°f) could show trapped exhaust up from the cat.
Has anyone had success with this test method? Thanks for the input everyone!
