Fleetwood Excursion electrical problem

Hi Everybody -
I have a 2016 Fleetwood Excursion 35E. I recently had a problem with our kitchen sink draining. While trying to check for a clog, water got an electrical junction box wet and it shut off our inverter based entertainment system. Fleetwood put 2 electrical junction boxes right under the sink - very smart of them ! Several electrical outlets aren't working in this area as well, but the inverter is working and our fridge runs normally. I do have other outlets in the RV that work off the generator, but not the outlets that are normally run thru the Inverter.

Most of my ac outlet boxes don't have a GFCI reset switch, but are labeled GFCI.

I have checked my main breaker box and reset everything, but can't seem to locate a master GFCI reset switch. I called Fleetwood and this was too deep for them, so I've made an appointment at a service center, but of course that is a month out.

If anybody has any suggestions to help, I would be most appreciative !

James

  • It was a GFCI outlet in the bathroom tucked underneath the cabinet - not easy to see. THIS is why a thousand forum heads is better than one !

Thanks to you all. You guys are awesome !
  • Yup, if the receptacles are marked "GFCI protected", there is a GFCI device ahead of those that controls them. You have to locate every receptacle including ones in storage bays and in exterior surfaces. Make sure there is no water in those boxes, of course.
  • did you check the inverter for tripped push button circuit breakers
also check, any outside 'patio' outlets for gfi
and any outlet you might have in the compartment bays
check the bathroom outlet and kitchen outlet
