Just a friendly clarification: OSB is water resistant, not waterproof. If it gets wet enough for long enough, it will get damaged, especially if in an off-vertical installation like a roof deck and in wetter climates like we have around here.
If an RV floor that has OSB gets flooded, I don't think you'd want to let it sit there for very long, especially if the edge treatment was cut off during installation.
Personally, I hate OSB. It's heavy, it really stinks and it can give you nasty slivers.

I doubt any flooring anywhere is made from MDF, which is medium density fiberboard, a version of cardboard. Perhaps you were thinking of OSB, which is oriented strand board, an engineered wood product. OSB is routinely used as roof decking in house construction because of its ability to withstand damage from water exposure.
