I don't have dual pane windows, nor would I spend the kind of extra money most RV manufacturers get for them.
Dual pane windows are not argon gas filled windows like you would have in your house. Sealed units in a residential or commercial application do have huge R values.
Having dual pane windows on an RV boils down to the same thing as slapping a storm window over your existing window. You are getting two non-sealed pieces of glass that will eventually allow moisture inside of them, which you can not get out yourself.
Will an extra piece of thin glass on all your windows cut down on some noise? Yes it will. Will an extra piece of thin glass help on heating/cooling? A little bit maybe. Is an extra piece of thin glass worth $1,200 to $1,800 extra on an RV? IMHO no way.
