Frige coil cooling fan

:S A while back someone posted a pic of dual fan unit that was pre assembled to fit on the top of the cooling coils on the back of the absorption frige.

i did not bookmark it and lost the location of the link.

Anyone remember and can get me to the right spot.

thanks
  • I currently have the 2 fan setup i purchased and it is also still running after 3 years but it sounds like the bearings are on their way out.

I have a set of elcheapo fans inside my frige that started that noise also. Another fella on this board suggested pealing the foil on the back of the motor to expose the bearing/bushing and then put a tiny drop of your favorite lube on it. Then recover the exposed bushing with something. I use foil tape since it is on my shelf Try it you will be amazed, at least I was.

  • Looks like joshusjim beat me to it. When you say "RV" the price goes sky high!
I did find the fans a little loud for my taste, so I hooked them in series. Now they run about ½ speed.

    Hard drive cooling fan
