Front AC load shedding

The front a/c will go into load shedding mode with 115 volts and no other appliances turned on. If I start the rear a/c then the front one works as it should, and continues to work until I shut off the rear a/c then it goes back to load shedding. This on a 2002 Southwind. Any ideas where to start looking? Thanks for any helpful comments. It is a bit warm here in Sandpoint. Marv

I don't understand what shredding from an A/C is.
    No 'r'
  • CA Traveler. Thanks for the idea. Sounds like a way to isolate the problem, now if I can find the relays.

    Shedding...Not shredding
  • A clamp on ammeter would be a good investment to track down where the amps are going. Get one that also measures DC amps like the Sears or equivalent.

I'd guess that the problem is in the load shedding equipment. Make sure HW, charger, etc are turned off. You might try swapping the 2 A/C wires before the shedding relays and see if you still have the same problem.
