Front tires on the truck

Came back from our 10,000 mile trip cross country again. Went to rotate the tires and get an alignment, and the front tires had sone scupping. They only have 30000 miles on LT tires. Could it be from towing the 5 wheel?

Do you know your loaded and un loaded axle weights?

More likely an alignment issue. But follow the link someone posted from Google.

I typically get 60,000 miles before new tires (thread still good I'm just anal about tires)
    Tow a 14K 5th wheel.....7 yrs was FT

NO front tires wearing out in short mileage has nothing to do with towing 5vr

What truck do you have....year/brand/model etc?
What tire pressures are you running...front & rear----towing/non-towing??

Suspension, ball joints, shocks, weight on front tires/air pressures etc
  • Mine do that too, so I always rotate them every 5,000 miles. I always thought it was from my off road driving in FWD.
