That was basically what I was thinking. I don't know how long the backup camera option has been around. Not sure if I'm that impressed with the camera and the wiring so far. Maybe others have read reviews and decided not to get it. Haven't started to install it but it's not going to be a quick Sunday afternoon job that's for sure.
