Thank for all the advice. I should have joined these forums long ago. The Forest River forums are pretty quiet.
Many people believe that no converter can fully charge a bank of GC2 batteries. Interstate specs call for an absorption rate of 15.3v There isn't a converter made that puts that out. Theory is that the converter will go to 13.6v before the batteries are charged. Batteries then become stratified and lose capacity. I'm hoping using a power supply for top charges and equalization will prevent this.
I will probably add a PD converter for bulk charging with the generator on cloudy days.
