The Meanwell or Megawatt supplies are as good as the converter supplies that I've seen. That is strictly from the type of components and the layout. Both will charge a small bank. I don't know what the specs are on the Blue Sky controller but I'd assume it has an equalization cycle and puts out more than 15V in that cycle.
Solar and controller are doing it all for my two 6v's. I even left in place the stock PD-808 that puts out 30 amps. I'm not using a generator but do have one. I check the SG occasionally and it is always above 1.280 when charged.
