Huh? :h Assuming the OP's genset is a synchronous model and not an inverter model which does vary speed according to load then it should run at a constant speed of 3600 rpm ... after all, that's how a synchronous genset derives it's 60 Hz frequency, unlike an inverter model in which the inverter itself creates that 60 Hz signal regardless of engine speed. If this is indeed a synchronous genset that is varying in speed then it needs servicing.
