The transfer switch is often located near the AC electric panel inside the RV. (It might not hurt to check the breakers there if you haven't already, besides the one on the generator that you have checked). Both the shore power cord and the generator power cable would go to the transfer switch, and its output to the AC electric panel.
On my particular motorhome, the transfer switch is actually bolted onto the back of the electrical center chassis.
