generator vs. solar panels

I've said it once i'll say it again. If you don't fix the panels to the camper, you can park in the shade and put the panels in the sun. Yes you would have to set it up each time but like anything thats not perfected, there is always a trade off. build your own panels, it's super easy and cheaper. maybe go 4, 6 volt batts. I just read a thread where the guy has his a/c set up on 24 volt. You can add wind power too. With the arthritis and all you will probably end up with an electric start generator in the bed of the truck.
