Comcast doesn't raise rates for me.
Even though they ran a big old honking >1" diameter black cable right through my property at a too-low height for my liking .... I still refused to sign up with them and pay for it. Instead, I insist on the opposite .... that they give me free lifetime service as rent for using my air-rights to ruin my view. You know how far that went.
I get my Internet, TV channels, and phone service other ways at rates that have just about been frozen for years. That big black Fatcast cable reminds me of greed every time I look up at it. :M
