I have two dash cams in my Honda Odyssey. One looks out of the rear window. The other looks forward thru the windscreen.
I NEVER look at the screen except when setting it up initially. To view following an accident, for example, I remove the card and view and edit on my laptop.
Only my ahead looking unit has GPS, don't feel the need to pay for both to have GPS. The GPS unit displays my speed on the recording.
Suggestion. Every month or two, view recordings to make sure it really is recording. I once wanted to view a recording and found it had simply not been recording for 3-4 weeks. Never figured out why?
