Grill hook-up

Trying to decide if I want to hook my road trip grill to the quick connect on the RV propane system.

What do I need to do as far as the regulator?

Do I leave the RT regulator in place or do I remove it and use the pressure supplied by the RV system?
  • Found this online the other day. Don't know if it will fit your particular grill, but thinking the connections might be pretty standard.

One of the things I liked is that the quick connect is far away from the grill, in case of a leak.
  • Remove the regulator and replace it with this quick connect

Afterward, to use with a normal propane tank you will have to use something like regulator/hose

I have done this with my Weber Q2000.

Be sure to use this yellow Gas PTFE Tape instead of the white stuff rated for water.
