Why not just make one 12 volt battery? 6 cells in parallel 4 times?
I think he is referring to... why do 3.2v 180ah cells when you could do 3.2v 1000ah cells and only need to do a single 4S config. Mainly because it is not recommended to go above 200ah due to vibration damage that could occur in an RV / boat application. At least one manufacturer has come out with that recommendation at this point.
