Do not know if it is true, but watching a Veterinary Reality show set in Alaska yesterday and the Vet said that fleas are present on Squirrels only in Alaska - not on humans, dogs, cats, etc.
The fleas do not survive if they transfer to a dog or human...

Do they migrate south of the border? :) - Down here when they land they leave grooves in the asphalt. Gargle with Cutter's, and the whine makes dogs growl. Mexico's got lots of pines and firs too, but I have no idea of the origin of this image (as I scratch).
