The upload speed and the amount of data are the challenges with cameras. I don't think the upload speed would be fast enough to use a Nest camera - plus Nest cameras are data hungry. There are some cameras that can be used with cellular data - but they're still pretty pricey - Google 'Arlo Go by NETGEAR'. We've used our iPhones and the Cloud Baby Monitor app. We point the iPhone camera at a thermometer hung on our RV wall. The Cloud Baby Monitor also allows you to monitor sound & motion. WardenCam is another similar app that we plan to check out.
