Been using Paypal and EBay since their inception. NEVER withdraw from checking.
ALWAYS go thru a CC. I got scammed once (never got product from US seller) before Paypal was bought by EBay and before the big class action lawsuit and I got all my money back. That's when I learned about using a CC only. I have never had a problem with China BUT I don't buy big ticket items. Cables, chargers, LEDs etc.
You have to pay attention.
