Mine did the same thing on my sold unit.
The awning was not rolling up squarely. It had shifted only about 1/4" in the track. I never could get it to stay put. I just had to let it up somewhat more abruptly to get the arms to close.
Since you still have warranty, I would let the dealer handle it.
