Help!!! Converter Over Charging

OK you genuises, I have a PD9260C converter in my 5ver. Suddenly it decided to start charging at 14.5 volts continuously. When I first noticed it it had my Crown batteries at 112 percent. I unplugged it from shore power for a few days then plugged it back in. Within a few hours it was charging at 14.5 vots and creeping above 100 percent charge. I have a TM-2030-RV batter monitor on the battery.

I have contacted Proggressive Dynamics for input but no response yet.

Any suggestions?
  • There actually are two or three possibilities here:

    Converter went bad.

Batteries are getting REALLY weak, causing the converter to think they need the boost charge voltage all the time.

A loose or corroded main cable connection, also giving the converter a wrong signal.

P.S. How are you determining that percent of charge ?
Typically you can't trust a "battery monitor" for a real accurate report.
