Unlike the OP I store my EU2000i in this Rubbermaid bin (Model 2215 in both Canada and the US) not so much to secure it while traveling but because I store the genset when not in use in my workshop and doing so seals in any gas / oil fumes completely. In my case it travels in the back of my Avalanche when we're camping but if I otherwise had to store it somewhere in the trailer I'd definitely not do so without having it in a bin like this which would eliminate any chances of unpleasant odours getting into the camper.
