How does the IQ4-AGM actually work? It says it skips the Bulk Stage (getting the battery to 14.6/8) and goes straight to the Absorption Stage (14.2v with regular IQ4 that runs for up to 8 hours)
How long does it really stay at 14.2v (or whatever voltage the IQ4-AGM does)?
Usually AGMs require holding the charge at 14.4ish (some want 14.8ish) until amps taper to 0.5a/100AH. so you need an ammeter to tell when you are down to 0.5a/100AH of bank.
8 hours might be long enough depending on how many AH of bank, etc. What would make the IQ4 drop to 13.2v before the 8 hours is up like it suggests "up to 8 hours"? Would that be before you get to 0.5a/100AH?
Is it possible to do 05.a/100AH at 14.x with that IQ4-AGM? If yes, what is its real charging profile? The specs are not clear.
