It runs mine. I tried it on eco but the compressor start up hits it hard so I leave eco off. It will carry lighter charging while running the AC but most if the charging has been done by my 1k solar bank. Most of the charging is done by the time we might need AC later in the day. We move with the temperature and try to stay where we need furnace rather than AC. I bolted mine into the front of the truck bed and use the remote start fob. If I turn the truck around with the hood to the pin area we sometimes forget it's running.
