There are a couple of fuel lines under the Maintenance cover that divert fuel to drain. One is connected to the bottom of the Carb. bowl. The other is a "Y" with one line to tank and one to carb. The lower end of the "Y" on mine is clear tubing that fits into a Square hole to drain to the outside.My QUESTION is " How do I get the bottom short tube back into the square hole?????????????Thanks

Funny.. I just recently posted about my 2k dripping gas from this tube. I don't know.. I've tried to get that tube in myself to no sucess. I'm not clear on the function of this tube anyway.

I swapped ends on the short hose and kind of screwed it in. Works OK now. One pull with it on choke and it cranks. I put a double dose of sea foam in the tank and ran it for an hour under no load.
I try to exercise it once a month.

Or just replace the 1 to 2" section of fuel line with new aquarium vinyl air hosing. Probably can get it at Home Depot.

That Y is a puzzle. One tube terminates to nothing but a cut-off end, for air I guess, and the other is connected to the carb. Without doing some research, I really don't know what it's for. All I know is, mine was spitting out a lot of gas.

Thanks guys, I'll try the screwdriver tomorrow.
BTW, any ideas about the purpose of the "Y"? The line goes from the cutoff to the carb. only to be interrupted by the "Y".
It was getting a little hard to crank so I will check the spark plug also plus I put a triple dos of Sea Foam in the tank.
