Sorry to pop your bubble, but marketing 101 says that there are at least two ways to gain market share. Lower price or same price with more performance and features. All have a value. Admittedly, according to these forums "Pride of ownership" exceeds all others.
Gotta have good marketing and good engineers to gain market share.
Right now Honda has the best of both on their payroll and their competitors don't.
I'll say it again, until such time as the engineers working for Honda's competitors address "performance and features", SPECIFICALLY: sound level, inrush, and price/reliability they will not gain market share on Honda.
