I have repeatedly pointed out that I am not an RVer.
That said, the RV market is a niche market of not large financial impact compared to the rest of the world. However, this IS an RV forum so discussions are obviously couched in RV terms and considerations.
"As soon as Honda's competitors produce a 2000w or 3000w inverter generator with:
1) sound level significantly under 60 db while under FULL (100%) load
2) proven inrush performance, especially while powering a/c units
..."
To the rest of us these two factors have little or no import to our needs. Why would we pay a huge premium to get a generator in a color that gets us things we do not care about?
My off-brand generator that I converted to use propane serves my needs 100% at probably 30% of the cost of a different colored paint.
