Right now Honda has the best of both on their payroll and their competitors don't.
I'll say it again, until such time as the engineers working for Honda's competitors address "performance and features", SPECIFICALLY: sound level, inrush, and price/reliability they will not gain market share on Honda.
I believe that Champion generators are designed and engineered in California, Wisconsin, and Canada. Probably Champion designers and engineers are now as competent as Honda's at combining well designed small gas engines with well designed digitally created sine wave circuits.
