I am a "she" and I have tried it with the tank elevated and with the tank on the ground. The picture is from my old setup that worked like a champ as it was pictured before I replaced the fuel line and eliminated the primer bulb. Now, when the tank is elevated, gas leaks from the hole I drilled into the Honda gas cap and when it is on the ground it doesn't seem to pull any gas. I tried putting the tank on 4x4s and that didn't work either.
So, I have sealed around the fuel line better with silicon and will work on it some more when I go back to my camper later this month. It's going to be WAY COLD this weekend, so I am staying home!
