Honda Gen EU2000i and EU2200i Companion

Can I mate my 5 year old EU2000i with a new EU2200i Companion (not purchased yet)? My gen has the parallel connectors. Or do I need to find a EU2000i Companion? Can't find a new one yet, maybe gotta l...

Westinghouse has a kit to hookup two of there inverter generators that also works with the Honda generator..I can parallel my Westinghouse 2200 and my Honda 2000 with it..
