For what I do, I'd go for option "B", noise reduction. I can always add another 2000 watt Honda and a three way parallel kit. However, I can't easily subtract noise out of the environment.
Power is common -- I can hit a hardware store and get a 4000 watt open-framed for a couple hundred dollars. However, noise (or lack of) is one of the three factors (the other two being extremely clean power and top notch fuel economy) why I would buy a Honda by name. Other than "Blue", no brand even comes close to Hondas for quiet machines.
