Honda parts. Who do you order from

Any recommendations for ordering Honda parts. Generators and lawn mowers etc.

My local dealer seems he always has to order. Being I have to wait for parts to be shipped in.... might as well order online and have parts delivered to house.
Save time ordering and picking up.

Who do you order online from?
Thanks

If your local dealer is "Always out of stock" on the parts and always has 'em on back order perhaps they are trying to tell you something (Shop elsewhere)

Two stories one published one mine both alike in a way

Reporter was ask at a News Conference if he drove the make of car the CEO holding the conference made.. YES he did
Any complaints?: Well as a matter of fact.

By the time that news conference ended a loaner car was in the reporter's driveway and his car was on the hoist at the dealership being fixed and fixed to the CEO's specifications.

Mine: Went to authorized Workhorse Service Center. I'm hitting the road in 2 weeks, Need the fuel clip recall done and an oil change.

"We can't get the clip that fast" (Standard chevy part they have in stock already"

I called Troy.. The Workhorse National Customer Service Manager.

Turns out my house was between his house and his office. He hand deliered the part that after noon along with another copy of his business card. I attached 'em and that's how I handed the part in 2 weeks later.

Follow up. Later the Brake light switch failed... There were only 8 nationwide they could find.. They had one Fed-Exed overnight. Any question as to why I think there was a FLAG on my account?
  • You can get most any part off Amazon, but be aware most will be Chinese parts, the same as used in the clones they build of most Honda models.
My last genny had a chinese carb and recoil starter that lasted till I scrapped it (about 5 years).

This is what I do for most everything. Compare prices including shipping. Also sometimes you can find it with no tax.
  • I bought something like This but it also included oil and a kitchen sink for $38.
  • Just type in HONDA #xxxxxxx into Google and a lot of small engine parts places will show up, just watch their shipping charges.

As stated above, check Ebay, but also Amazon has gotten into the parts business quit heavily over the last year.
