Wow, great find! The tests were run at 50% load, so the results could be different at idle and/or full load. Notice that in the fine print that during the measurements the Honda was producing 6% to 7% more power because of its higher output voltage. The Honda also had less voltage drop with a reduced resistance load.

As to "pretty darn quiet", I do wish the eu2000i was quieter when running near full load.
