Hot water heater
We have a suburban SW12DE hot water heater in our fifth wheel trailer. On gas it seems to work as it should. When we put it on electric the water does not get as hot. What could be the problem?

Electric elements work or don't but because the electric element is submerged in the water crud can build up on it and lessen the heat transfer rate.
