Thanks! It's not quite done. I need the lettering on the outside and maybe some iron with a lock. This battery enclosure will be inside the TT so I took some effort to make it a cosmetic fit. The inside is lined with vinyl sheet and there is a gasket along the top edge.
I decided to use wet cells and place it inside for a few reasons: 1) I didn't want another 150lbs on the tongue 2) The inside placement balances side-side weight better 3) I may be doing some cold-weather camping 4) Shortest run of wires to the DC distribution and inverter 5) Cost.
The box will be vented, of course.
