Even if they are 2 group 27 12v batteries that's still only a max of 210 amp hours right? My 2 6v will give me 232ah.
You should be getting more amp hours no matter what out fo the two 6v batteries I have as compared to 12V ... unless you have something like group 31 or those crazy expensive L-16
