Ok so I got my batteries hooked in series and the Schumacker battery charger connected to each battery (- to - on one battery and + to + on the other battery).
I started off with 12.55 ... I connected earlier today and have it running in 2 amp mode with it switched to Deep Cycle (not SLI) .... how long will it take to charge from 12.55 to fully charged? My charger is an automatic and says once fully charged the green light will pop on and go into maintain mode.
I have had it charging for about 8 hours and when I checked them with the voltmeter while connected they we're like 13.8v and bouncing around a bit ..... I took the charger off to test the volts in them after 8 hours (keep in mind the charger was still charging and has not gone to green / done yet) and they we're bouncing around from about 12.97v to 13.2v while the tester was on the battery leads.
What is a full charge??? Is it suppose to show 13-14V while they are being charged?
New to this so sorry if this sounds simple but I want to make sure I am reading this right and doing it all correctly.
