How Do I Charge, and Maintain 2 New 6 Volt Batteries???

I just purchased 2 new 6 volt Premium 232ah Sams Club Energizer batteries that I will be installing in my rig this weekend. Now I want to know more about them and how to maintain them. Can I run...

Noticed I could hear my batteries boiling a bit when I put my ear to the top of the batteries.

The charger is on deep cycle and 2 amps and the automatic charger was still going and said they we're not done charging but I disconnected them after I heard this in the battery.

Is this normal? If so then I should just let them charge till may charger says they are done?
